He is survived by: his wife Brenda L. Hampton; his daughter Inetha Hampton of Whiteville; and his siblings, Janie Knight of Connecticut, Caroline Jenkins, Dorothy Hampton of Massachusetts and Preston Hampton of Connecticut.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville (707 Vinson Blvd, Whiteville, NC 28472). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Antioch First Born Church (187 Diamond Branch School Rd, Whiteville, NC 28472).
