It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Eldred Boswell of Whiteville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 27, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Thomas leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William David "Dave" Boswell and Grace Ellen Ward Boswell; his wife Alice Wallace Boswell; his son-in-law Shandel Allen McPherson; and his brother Milton Boswell.
He is survived by: his daughter Clarissa "JoJo" Boswell McPherson of Whiteville; his granddaughters, Kaitlin McPherson and Kenley McPherson; and his sisters, Alice Long and Martha Strickland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity of one's choice.
