She is survived by: her husband Alton Toon; her children, Kina Toon of Rocky Mount, NC, Jessica Toon-Smokes of Wendell, NC, Talia Toon and Alton Toon, II of Whiteville; and her siblings, Dyciele Jeffries of Whiteville, Vera Roseboro of Charlotte, NC, George Jeffries of Whiteville, Robert Jeffries of Washington, DC and Jerry Jeffries of New Jersey. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
