We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2024, at the age of 90, Shirley Kathryn Million of Whiteville, North Carolina, born in Fair Bluff, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Owen Edwards and Miriam Kellihan Edwards; her brother Fred E. Edwards (Johnny B. Edwards); and her daughter Amy Rogers Jordan. She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Carole Edwards of Florence, SC and Vivian Edwards-Orrell of Clemmons, NC; her nephew Cameron Brooks Edwards (Sharon) of Wilmington, NC; and her nieces, Kristin Edwards (Todd Wender) of Sunset Harbor, NC, Megan Edwards (Nahchey Storer) of Charleston, SC and Samantha Alsup (Keith) of Lake Waccamaw, NC..
The family is requesting donations be made in memory of Shirley to Liberty Commons Residents Fund through Tracey Jones (910-734-7127); or to Fair Bluff Baptist Church.
