She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Faye Cartrette and Blonnie Mae Cribb Cartrette; and her siblings, Randy Cartrette and Sheila Cartrette Reed. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Wilson Beck, Jr.; her siblings, Michael Cartrette (Traci) of Whiteville, NC and Debbie Hartzog (David) of Goldsboro, NC; and her nephew Cody Reed. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
