He is survived by: his children, Laython Turner Ward of Hallsboro, Juston Blake Ward (Shelby) of Hallsboro and Lindsey P. Ward (Chad Hilburn) of Whiteville; his brother Lealon Carlton Ward, Jr. of Leland; and his grandchildren, Weslynn Hilburn, Fisher Ward and Brighton Ward.
