He is survived by: his wife Ella Mae Register; his sons, Donnie Register (Gerri) of Loris, SC, Terry Register (Nancy) and Dean Register; his grandchildren, Ryan Register (Suzanne) of Kernersville, NC, Christy Madden (Mike) of Shallotte, NC and Katelyn Register of Wilmington, NC; his great grandchildren, Adam Register, Jackson Register, Evan Madden and Trent Madden; and his sister Pearl Highsmith of New Bern, NC..
