She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Ransom; and her siblings, William Gordon Bass, Jr., Betty Little and Bonnie Elliott. She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa Smith of Whiteville and Crystal Gayle Long (Brad) of Lake Waccamaw; and her sisters, Sue Bell (Mitchell) of Whiteville, Patsy Guyton (Earl) of Whiteville, Sandra Tatum (Grady) of Bladenboro, Marsha Fields (Johnny) of Evergreen and Linda Alambis of Bladenboro. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
