He is survived by: his children, Chad Thompson, Ashley T. Martinez of Chadbourn and Daniel Thompson; his sisters, Faye Wilkes of Shallotte and Ann T. Edwards (Ronald) of Whiteville; and his grandchildren, Hailey Jordan, Nathan Martinez and Ethan Thompson.
