Thompson, Jr. and Amy Thompson Jenkins (Brian) of Whiteville, NC; his siblings, William "Bill" Thompson of Woodstock, GA, David Thompson of Falls Church, VA, Martha McMurray (Allen) of Bakersfield, CA and Juanita Cox (Jim) of Bristol, VA; and his grandchildren, Samuel Jenkins, William Jenkins, Matthew Jenkins, Brooke Thompson, Charissa Thompson, Jacob Vaughn and Jonah Vaughn. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
