He is survived by: his children, Tammy Ward Price of Whiteville, Becky Ward of Whiteville and Ralph Byron Ward of South Carolina; and his siblings, George Ward (Linda) of Whiteville and Rachel Ward Gore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
