She was predeceased by: her parents, Horry J. Watts and Ora Godwin Watts; and her husband Wilbur "Bill" Freedman. She is survived by: her children, William Barry Freedman (Lisa) and Michelle Freedman Luhrs (Michael) of Charlotte; her siblings, Hershal Watts of Greenville, NC, Mona Watts Kahl (Jim) of Aberdeen and Retha Watts Thompson of Whiteville; and her grandchildren, Rhett Freedman, Grant Freedman, Bryce Freedman, Ava Luhrs and Ashley Luhrs.
