He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Paul Hardee and Pauline Ward; his wife Joanne Porter Hardee; his siblings, Bobby, Harry Lee Hardee and Mona Faye Duncan; his brother-in-law Mike Porter; and his nephews, Michael and Kevin Hardee.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Hardee Bailey and Porter Hardee (Shannon); his grandchildren, Mona, Parker Bailey, Dawson and Gentry Hardee; and his siblings-in-law, Glenn Porter (Margaret), Russell W. Duncan, JoRuth Porter, Sandra P. Allen (Mike) and Christy P. Mitchell (Scott).
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Peacock's Chapel (1227 S Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
