It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myra Ward of Whiteville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 16, 2021, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Claude and Ruby Frances Crowder Mason. She is survived by: her husband Walter Roy "Pete" Ward; her children, Jessica D. Herring (Andy) of Whiteville, Krystal W. Simpson (David) of Whiteville, Ashley W. Manning (Jordan) of Tabor City and Heather M. Harper (Jason) of Tabor City; her siblings, Dolly Davis of Whiteville, Cathy Cliff (Rudy) of Evergreen, Tonda Mitchell (Clarence) of Buckhead and Willette Mason (Fitzgerald) of St. James; and her grandchildren, Andrea, Madison, Brys, Ila, Ally, Jacob, Peighton, Axel and Carter Rose. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
