She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Penny and Myrtie Jones Penny; her children, Donna Chavis and Stevie Butler; and her siblings, Pat Moore, Alma Cumbee, Faye Register, Charles Penny and Leo Penny.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Butler of Chadbourn and Debbie Sue Butler of Whiteville; her sister Judy Rockwell of Orrum; and her grandchildren, Joshua Butler, Jacob Butler, Meagan Cox, Jonathan Butler, Brett Chavis, Cody Chavis and Derrick Butler.
