She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Everette Proctor and Letha Cartrette Proctor; her siblings, Kathleen P. Hobbs, James Proctor, Doris P. Batten, Lenox Proctor, Bobby Proctor and Mitchell Proctor; her granddaughters, Ashley Soles and Tina Jones; her children, John Soles (Linda) of Manson, NC, Terry Soles (Kathy) of Whiteville, NC, Mickey Soles (Janet) of Whiteville, NC, Peggy S. Ward-Ragland (Wes) of Cookeville, TN, Janet S. Pennell of Whiteville, NC, Judy S. Cartrette (Ronnie) of Clinton, NC and Robin S. Barnhardt (Art) of White Oak, NC; and her sister Lillian P. Soles of Whiteville, NC.. She was also cherished by 23 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.

Because of health issues and Covid-19, a private graveside ceremony will be held for children and their spouses only, at Flynn Cemetery with Dr. Scott Lewis and Dr. Marjorie Roberson officiating.
