It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Sikes of Whiteville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert C. Stanley and Carrie B. Price Stanley; her sons, Eddie Sikes and Scott Sikes; her great grandchild Kaydance Sikes; her brother Jerry Stanley; and her former husband Charles E. Sikes.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Sikes (Kim) of Piedmont, S. C. and Melinda Powell (Greg) of Whiteville, N. C.; her grandchildren, Mark Sikes, Christopher Powell, Eli Powell, Ashly Graham (Correy) and Meagan Sikes; and her great grandchild Sadie Graham.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Plains Baptist Church (412 N Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
