She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie E. Stevens and Nancy Hardee Stevens; her husband Alfred Clemmons; and her siblings, Leroy Stevens and Flossie Stevens Tedder.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Ernest Clemmons (Lynda) of Whiteville, N. C. and Rita Clemmons Powell (Bill) of Whiteville, N. C.; and her grandchildren, Amanda Anne Powell, William Anderson Powell, III (Courtney), Ernie Clemmons (Lisa), David Clemmons (Laura), Jamie Bowen (Casey) and Oren Russell (Heather). She is also survived by 11 Great- Grandchildren.
