It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of LouFloy Harrelson of Whiteville, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lacy Palmer Suggs, Sr. and Mazie Lee Suggs; and her siblings, Otis Suggs, Lillian S. Buerger, Carolyn S. Smith, Verniece S. Shaw, Elouise S. Payne, Hilda S. Shaw and Thomas Suggs.

She is survived by: her son William Devon Harrelson (Anita) of Whiteville; her granddaughter Jenna Louise Harrelson; and her siblings, L. P. Suggs, Jr. of Chadbourn, Robert Suggs (Billie Jean) of Tabor City and Maggie S. Lundy of Chadbourn.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peacock Funeral Home (1227 S Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Old Zion Wesleyan Church (10144 Swamp Fox Hwy E, Tabor City, NC 28463).
