He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Patterson and Annie Adams Patterson; his daughter Monique Lewis; his siblings, Levenia Thorpe, Nadine Rouse and William Thorpe; and his nieces and nephews, Rosaland Monroe, Crystal Monroe, Robert "Fon" Patterson and John (Lester).
He is survived by: his wife Cecelia Patterson; his children, Renaldo Lewis (Mercia) of Lake Waccamaw and Emily Currie; his siblings, Geraldine Patterson Rouse (Marshall) of Whiteville and Jerome Patterson (Donna) of Rochester, NY; and his grandchildren, Nora Currie of Lake Waccamaw, Khadijah Currie of Lake Waccamaw, Africa Currie Jr. of Lake Waccamaw, Adriana Lewis of Lake Waccamaw, Mariah Lewis of Lake Waccamaw, Avery Lewis of Lake Waccamaw, Dominic Lewis of Lake Waccamaw and Miles Lewis of Lake Waccamaw. He is also survived by his grandkids and all his nieces and nephews and took pride in his family.
All attendees are asked to wear masks to the service. Due to the recent COVID epidemic, the family will not be receiving visitors or food at the home however flowers and condolences will be appreciated at the service.
