It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leanna Mathis Edge of Whiteville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her son Antoine Edge; and her siblings, Cedric Mathis, Denise Johnson, Margaret Slaughter and Caralene Lewis. She is also survived by two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
