It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kitty Holmes of Whiteville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas "T. K." and Sarah Arnold (Hunt); her husband Roger Holmes; and her siblings, Karen Crowder and Danny Arnold.

She is survived by: her sons, Jason Holmes (Suzanne), Kent Holmes (Kelly) and David Holmes (Heather); her grandchildren, Harrison, Trent, Karsen, Greer, Henry, Mary Margaret and Sarah; her brother Tommy Arnold (Lisa); and her sister-in-law Linda Arnold. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Whiteville United Methodist Church, 902 Pinckney St, Whiteville, NC 28472, or to a charity of one's choice.
