He is survived by: his wife Phyllis W. Haynes; his children, Arrika M. Burns of Fayetteville, NC and Timothy Haynes Boyd of Whiteville; and his siblings, Jean McDonald, Pauline George of Whiteville and David Haynes of Whiteville.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville (707 Vinson Blvd, Whiteville, NC 28472). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church (5548 Silver Spoon Rd, Whiteville, NC 28472).
