It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kelton Tyson of Whiteville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Tyson and Frances Smith Tyson; his son Kelton Ray Tyson; his siblings, Marvin Tyson, Estelle Tyson, Lucy Penny, Rosa Lee and Leta Lee; and his brothers-in-law, John Sellers and Carlisle Suggs.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Memory Tyson; his sons, Roger Dean Tyson (Deanna) of Whiteville, Ricky Gene Tyson of Whiteville and Ronnie Tyson (Juanita); and his siblings, Ervin Tyson (Sue) of Whiteville, Margie Sellers of Whiteville and Careleen Suggs of Whiteville. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
