She was predeceased by: her parents, Garner Suggs and Scottie Milligan Suggs; her husband Robert Vance Russ; her daughter Miriam Smith; and her siblings, Thomas Suggs, Harold Suggs and Emma Lou Ganus.
She is survived by: her daughter Juanita Yvonne Sellers of Whiteville; her granddaughters, Kimberly Brownholtz (Blake) of Lexington, SC, Monica Sellers of Whiteville and Melissa Sellers of Whiteville; and her great grandchildren, Jonathan Brownholtz, Joshua Doyle and Zachary Brownholtz.
In lieu of flowers her family request memorials be made to Old Zion Wesleyan Church Building Fund or Missionary Fund, 10144 Swamp Fox Hwy E., Tabor City, NC 28463.
