She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Griffin and Ada McPherson; her husband Mike Herring; her son Steve Hannon; and her brothers, Billy Griffin and Wilton Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, William Billy Hannon of Whiteville and Lorie Canady (Chris) of Hallsboro; her granddaughters, Amanda Hannon (Kyle Cook) of Whiteville and Chelsea Nance (Brett) of Chadbourn; her great grandchildren, Carson Skipper, Cali Brewer, Ryder Nance and Nixon Nance; and her sisters-in-law, Bernice Griffin of Beaverdam and Kathy Griffin of Clarendon.
