He is survived by: his parents, Hugh Thomas McPherson, II (Renee) of Whiteville and Tonia Deaver Strickland (Chris) of Tabor City; his siblings, Hunter McPherson (Brianna), Hannah McPherson, Courtney Engle, Doug Engle, Gretta Strickland and Aubree Strickland; his niece Kennedy McPherson; and his grandparents, Irma McPherson, Patricia and J. T. Deaver.
