He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Rozier Gore and Rowena Clemmons Gore; and his siblings, Ervin "Bud" Gore, Ricky Gore and Wanda Kaye Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kathy" Jacobs Gore; his daughters, Rosearita Gore Penny (Jason) of White Marsh and Joann Gore Wilson (Joe Wilson III) of Old Dock; his grandchildren, Samantha Inman (Christopher), Garrett Wilson, Devan Penny and Riley Wilson; his great grandchild Madelyn Inman; and his siblings, Virginia "Gin" Formyduval of Old Dock, Elsie Faulk of New Hope, Tommy Gore of Nakina, Danny Gore of Old Dock and Craig Gore of Old Dock.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the McKenzie Mortuary (112 Jefferson St, Whiteville, NC 28472). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Old Dock Church (258 Dock Rd, Whiteville, NC 28472).
