He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hinson Hyatt; his daughters, Sharon Hyatt Slate (Thomas) of Kernersville, NC and Gina Hyatt Morningstar (Jeff) of Whiteville, NC; his sister Judy Hyatt Gore of Nakina; and his grandchildren, Tanner Morningstar, Grace Morningstar, Elizabeth Slate, Thomas Slate, Kemper Mahanes, Margaret Mahanes and Molly Grace Mahanes.
