He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ranson Long and Dessie Lee Williams Long. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen L. Long; his children, Mark Long (Debbie) of Shallotte, NC, Matthew Long (Patti) of Nakina, NC, Darlene L. Ward (Darrell) of Nakina, NC and Rebecca L. Worley (Dewayne) of Nakina, NC; his siblings, Jason Long of Shallotte, NC and Doris Ellen Ward of Shallotte, NC; and his grandchildren, Cody, Jennifer, Seth, Whitney, Caleb, Jamie Lynn, Jesse and Landon. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
