He is survived by: his wife Rachel Jane Spivey High; his children, Jerry High, Jr. of Whiteville, Johnny Thomas High (Chris Ann) of Whiteville and Shelly Renee Dew (Jewell) of Whiteville; his grandchildren, Summer Britt, Nathaniel High, Abigail High, Coty Strickland, Brandi Reynolds and Christopher Strickland; and his great grandchildren, Peyton Reynolds, Dawson Jones, Briley Strickland, Aubreyella Reynolds, Myriah Strickland, Holden Britt and Jaxton Strickland.
