He was predeceased by: his mother Judy Dianne Ward Hammonds; his stepbrother Scott Blackman; his grandparents, John Howard Stanley, Pauline Stanley and Daniel Norman Ward; his uncle Ronnie Daniel Ward; and his mother-in-law Mary Jenkins Medlin.
He is survived by: his wife Amy Medlin Stanley; his children, Jude Howard Stanley of Whiteville, Elizabeth Jackson (Wesley) of Whiteville and Riley Britt of Whiteville; his father Kenny Howard Stanley (Geraldine); his grandmother Irene Ward; his stepsister Michelle Coleman (Brian); his cousins, Emily Turbeville (Danny), Elizabeth Edwards (Brandon) and Chris Ward (Julie); and his father-in-law Tylon Medlin of Chadbourn.
