He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin Roberts, Sr. and Lillian Stanley Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Sheron Hinson Roberts; his children, James Franklin Roberts III of Whiteville, Christy Roberts Sergeef (Emmanuel) of Wilmington, Vanessa Roberts of Whiteville and Denise Roberts Davies (Mark) of Raeford; his sister Jeanette Cole of Holly Springs; his grandchildren, Ian Kilz, Molly Roberts, Victoria Roberts, Daniel Davies and Christin Davies; and his caregiver Benjamin Clark.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Plains Baptist Church (412 N Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
