She is survived by: her children, Jerry Strickland of Whiteville, Jeffie Sellers of Hallsboro, Audrey Brown (Heath) of Bolton, Jean Hyatt of Whiteville and Janet Soles (Mickey); her sister Joan Watts of Hallsboro; and her grandchildren, Jill Jenkins, Michelle Mitchell, Magan Soles, Zachary Brown, Christy Hyatt, Mark Sikes, Coty Strickland, Brandi Reynolds and Christopher Strickland. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peacocks Columbus Memorial Park (1227 S Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Peacocks Chapel (1227 S Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472).
