Jack Thompkins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2025, at the age of 74, Jack Thompkins (Whiteville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Marshall Thompkins; and his wife Betty Thompkins. He is survived by: his mother Daisy Sutton Thompkins; his sister Elizabeth Butler (Leon); his cousin JoAnne Utterback (David); his nephew Sean Hardwick (Sarah); his close friend Dyna Johnston; his stepchildren, Melanie Hinson (Chris), Colen and Gerald Ward (Jenna); his stepgrandchildren, Christopher, Brandon, Bradley and Ember; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Laramie. He is also survived by two great-nieces, a great- nephew.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peacock Funeral Home (1227 S Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
