He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley Benson and Margie Bass Benson of Dublin, N. C.. He is survived by: his children, Crystal Land (Allan) of Whiteville, Amy Etheridge (Allan) of Crusoe Island, Kathryn Benson of Whiteville and Donald Benson (Rachel) of Clarendon, N. C.; and his sisters, Mitzi Lockamy (Gene) and Glynda Muse (Steve). He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
