With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hiawatha Cook (Whiteville, North Carolina), born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on July 15, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Lorenzo Lupo and Rebecca Hoover Lupo; and her husband William Brown Cook (Billy). She is survived by: her sons, William B. Cook, Jr. (Leigh) of Whiteville and Christopher Lupo Cook of Whiteville; her grandchildren, William Kyle Cook, Matthew Gray Cook (Brittany), Jackson Worley Cook, Haley Cook Wayne (Justin) and John Lawson Cook; and her great grandchildren, Avery Wayne, Stetson Wayne and Holden Cook.
