It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn Hyer (Whiteville, North Carolina), who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn A. Hyer and Hazel L. Crouch Hyer. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Smith Hyer; his children, Wayne Hyer, Tammy Heath, Glenda Hyer and Justin Hyer; his stepchildren, Cindy Haney, James Lange and Jennifer Lange; his grandchildren, Samantha Crompton, Abigail Heath, Jordan Chrisman, Kylee Lange and James Lange; and his sister Rebecca Deweese. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Glenn E. Hyer to Pleasant Plains Baptist Church in Whiteville or Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
