She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mitchell and Roberta Mitchell; her grandparents, Howard, Luticia Blanks, Jervey and Gertrude Mitchell; her brother James Sanford Mitchell; and her sister-in-law Blenda Mitchell.
She is survived by: her close friend Bonnie Smith; her brothers, Jeffrey (Pam), Jerry (Charlotte), Timmy (Frances), Terry (Shevonda) and Ricky; her sister-in-law Charlene; and her close friends, Lula Davis, Sylvia Brown and Pat Andrews. She is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews; 21 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. James Missionary Baptist Church (225 W Walter St, Whiteville, NC 28472). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
