He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Clewis and Gertrude Long Clewis; his brother Mitchell Clewis; and his pets, Sheba and Little Bit.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Sue Clewis; his daughters, Pam Norris (Russell) of Whiteville, Amy Ferguson (John Long) of Tabor City and Holly Ragan (Philip) of Whiteville; his brother Wayne Clewis (Edwina); his grandchildren, Heather Mclamb, Brittany Long, Ethan Norris, Nathan Norris, Kelsey Ball and Adley Ragan; his great grandchildren, Kiley Clewis, Garett Clewis, Lucas Mclamb, Kyndall Grace Mclamb, Cory Long, Desmond Smith, Preston Norris, Iver Norris, Calab Norris and Avery Ball; his nephew Ethan Clewis (Nikki); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Rosalie, Masen and Dakota.
