She was predeceased by: her parents, Junior Ellis and Carlene Price Ellis; her husband Leyton Gause; and her sister Doris E. Penny. She is survived by: her son Allen Batten of Whiteville; her siblings, Ruth Price of Whiteville, Frances Ellis of Wilmington, NC and Ernest Ellis of Whiteville; her grandchildren, Andrea Sellers of Thomasville, NC, Alex Batten (Becky) of Whiteville and Lloyd McGee of Whiteville; and her pet Trouble. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
