She was predeceased by: her husband Harry; and her sister Pauline Benson. She is survived by: her children, Sam Simmons of Wilmington, Suzanne Maynard and Charles Maynard; her parent-in-law Raleigh; her grandchildren, Taylor and Chase Maynard; and her siblings, Dorothy Fowler, Carolyn Fisher (Joe) and Bill Horne (Barbara). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
