She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Emory and Rosa Lee Hood; her siblings, Samuel Hodge, Malcomb Hodge and Donald Hodge, DC; her grandchildren, Terry Smith and Christopher "Toby" Nobles; her sons-in-law, Gregory Harris and Mike Autry; and her great great grandchild Marina Grace Mintz.
She is survived by: her children, James Henry Berry (Cerenda) of Roanoke, VA, Teresa Lynn Harris of Whiteville, Rebecca Jean Autry of Roanoke, VA and Henry Evans Berry (Janie) of Whiteville; and her grandchildren, Rose Soles, Tomasina Barnes, Rebecca Ikner, Marshall Mintz, James Berry, Jr., Wayne Berry and Connie Nobles. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
