It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellis Jones Jr. of Whiteville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 25, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his son Christopher Jenrette of Maryland; his former wife Eileen Jones; his stepson Allen Smith of Ohio; and his siblings, Mary Ann Jones, Phyllis McKoy, Virginia Green, Karen Bryant of Whiteville, NC, Danny Jones, Rudolph Jones, Herman Jones of Whiteville, NC, Herbert Jones of New Mexico and Bobby Jones of Florida. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
