He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie B. Dawsey and Gladys Dawsey; and his brothers, Rev. A. B. Dawsey, Rev. J. W. Dawsey and Rev. P. E. Dawsey.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Dawsey; his children, Kimberly Dawsey Honeycutt (Russell) and Autry Dawsey, Jr. (Kim); and his grandchildren, Danica Honeycutt Lester (Titus), Cameron Honeycutt (Kristen), Autry Dawsey III, Chelsea Dawsey, Jarrison Honeycutt and Creighton Dawsey (Chaley Honeycutt).
