It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Hampton Tison of Whiteville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Francis Tison and Mary Ann Long Tison. He is survived by: his wife Diane Horne; his children, Wendy Dew (Dewayne), Scarlet Edwards (Scott) and Alex Tison (Sheila); his grandchildren, Cameron Blackwell (Jennifer), Whitney Dew, Eli Edwards, Alice Tison and Liam Tison; and his great grandchildren, Camden, Leah and Haven.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Whiteville.
