He is survived by: his wife Deborah Watts Batten; his children, John Wesley Batten (Lisa) of Myrtle Beach, David Ashley Batten (Holly) and Jennifer Batten Jordan (Jason) of Conway, SC; his siblings, Deborah Batten Tuggle of Liberty and Timothy Wayne Batten (Sharon) of Landenberg, PA; and his grandchildren, Savannah Batten, Ashton Jordan and Caroline Batten.
