He was predeceased by: his father David Pearson Moore; his daughter Beverly Kay Dew; and his siblings, Gladys Watts, Elizabeth Creech, Ronald Moore and Carolyn Diane Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Smith Moore; his children, Christopher Jason Moore (Renee) of Chadbourn, Donnie Leon Powers, Jr. of Whiteville and Donna Powers Whelan (Troy) of Virginia; his siblings, Ralph Moore of Chadbourn, Grady Moore of Chadbourn and Brenda Wiggins of Clarkton; his grandchildren, Wayne Dew, Stephanie Rothrock, Reagan Powers and Bella Grace Moore; and his great grandchildren, Winter Green, Kalani Melvin, Kendall Melvin and Josephina Melvin.
