With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dewey Devon Ward of Whiteville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 7, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Frazier Ward and Mattie Mae Simmons Ward; and his siblings, Rudolph Ward, Norman Ward, Troy Ward, Charles Ward, Kathleen Weatherford, Edwin Ward, Mary Jane Powell, Betty Jo Dallas, Eugene Ward and J. Daniel "Pete" Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Kay Ward; his children, Angela W. Ransom (Darian) of Whiteville, Aaron Scott Ward (Rachel) of Shallotte and Stephen Brian Ward (Destinie) of Whiteville; and his grandchildren, Conner Ward (Katie), Isaac Ward, Drake Ward, Matthew Ransom, Benjamin Ransom, Rebekah Ransom, Joseph Ward, Evan Ward, Annabeth Ward, Joshua Ward and Mavis Ward.
