It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daylon Dozier Spivey (Whiteville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 31, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dessie Leora Fipps McLamb and Dozier M. Spivey; and his brothers, Alford C. Spivey and Kenneth Marshall McLamb. He is survived by: his daughter Holly E. Spivey Williamson of Whiteville; his siblings, Roland "Buddy" Spivey (Elizabeth) of Williams Township, Timothy "Chub" Young of Whiteville, Gary Spivey of Abbottsburg, Roy McLamb of Loris, SC, Jerry Spivey of Oregon, Jessie Soles of Aberdeen, Elizabeth "Libby" McLamb of Conway, Sue McLamb Norton of Conway, Mary Frances Smith of Conway, Mavis Watts of Lumberton, Lela Olivy Ruiz-Rosario of Fairmont, Shirley Ann Soles of Shallotte, Acenia Farrand of San Francisco and Selena McPherson of Williams Township; and his grandchildren, Zachary Alex Spivey, Brianna Lea Williamson and Jayden Paige Williamson. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, Nephews.
